The FOCUS24, will be organized at 24-26 October 2024 and hosted by Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University (ZBEU), in Zonguldak, Turkey.
Our congress offers researchers from many universities around the world the opportunity to present, share and put forward new ideas and current issues on climate change, sustainability and urbanization policies. FOCUS, which we will organize in a multidisciplinary manner, will provide a unique scientific discussion environment with studies presented by scientists from different fields. In this context, FOCUS provides a platform for sharing information and seeking solutions by focusing on global issues such as environmental problems, climate change and international cooperation.
Issues related to the environment and sustainability are becoming increasingly important as rapidly developing technology harms the environment and the increasing world population depletes natural resources. UI GreenMetric draws attention to environmental and sustainability issues in higher education institutions that are expected to produce solutions to important problems around the world through research. UI GreenMetric ranks universities around the world according to some indicators such as structure and infrastructure, energy, waste management, water, transportation and education. The ranking aims to highlight sustainability in higher education at a global level. I believe that your participation will help you share your experiences and good practices on environment and sustainability with other universities. You can also evaluate your sustainability policy in the ranking and have the opportunity to compare it with other institutions participating in the ranking. More importantly, the rankings can be used as a platform for future collaborations between higher education institutions.

We invite you to the Congress on Climate Frontiers, Urbanization and Sustainability (FOCUS) which brings together scientists working in this field from all over the world, not only to address global environmental problems, but also to develop sustainable future solutions and promote international cooperation and put forward ideas for this.
The FOCUS24 will be held ONLINE AND FACE TO FACE on 25-27 October 2024, at Zonguldak BEÜ Farabi Campus, one of the most environmentally friendly campuses in Turkey.
We expect researchers who want to present papers at the congress to send their Turkish and English abstracts via the congress website until October 1, 2024.
The entire congress program will be broadcast live on Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University YouTube channels.
Extended abstracts of accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings book and the opportunity to be published in contracted journals will be offered.
